Alan began recruiting staff for dairy farmers in 2003 and it soon became apparent there were not enough suitable New Zealand applicants to fill all available positions. These vacant positions were eventually filled by recruiting staff from the Philippines. The employer response to these applicants was overwhelming, with employers being especially impressed by the motivation, reliability and attitude of these new migrant workers.
With the current shortage of skilled workers in many industries, especially Christchurch and Auckland, some employers are now (like the dairy farmers) looking to fill some vacancies with skilled migrant workers.
ADD Workers has brought in many construction workers and other staff to New Zealand. The full service includes assessing and shortlisting applicants, managing the immigration process, meeting new arrivals at the airport, arranging bank accounts, arranging applications for IRD numbers, organizing accommodation for new arrivals and setting up the first meeting with employers.
